Henry KERINS

Henry Kerins is the Founder and CEO of East Asia Super League (EASL), where he is responsible for EASL’s overall strategies with commercial, league operations, and media/broadcast partnerships, along with the day-to-day operations with legal, corporate and banking relationships. Based out of Hong Kong, he has spent most of his life living and working in Asia.

He was previously the Head of Greater China at The Asia Group, where he advised on the firm’s Greater China capital advisory practice and provided strategic advice to western and Asian multi-national corporations with geographic focus on the Greater China region, including the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan region.

Prior to The Asia Group, he was a member of the China Markets Investment Banking and Strategy team at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong. At J.P. Morgan, he authored several China-centric research reports touching on key geo- political developments, and economic reforms. He was also responsible for engaging and maintaining relationships with Chinese state-owned enterprises and policy agencies, as well as key think tanks and academic institutions.

Before working at J.P. Morgan, he was a television anchor for Hong Kong Satellite Television (HKSTV), where he was one of the original news anchors for HKSTV's 24-hour Mandarin speaking satellite television network broadcast throughout Asia, called East Meets West.

Prior to his work with HKSTV, he held leading roles on multiple television and film projects, including as an actor for an educational television series with Beijing Television. He did his undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology.
