Weijing LU

Associate Professor, School of Law and Humanities, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing); CEO, Beijing Qiyue Center for Philanthropy

Prof Lu is the founder and CEO of Beijing Qiyue Center for Philanthropy, which is a major service provider of philanthropy research, program evaluation and training in China. 

Prof Lu and her colleagues have evaluated more than 1000 NGOs/programs and helped donors create real value through screening good projects since 2008. 

Integrating theoretical research and front-line service, Qiyue develops evaluation methodology that help partners solve social problems better. 

She is the author of numerous books, industry papers and reports, which have high impact in the industry. She received her PhD degree in non-profit management from Beijing Normal University and was postdoctoral fellow of the Institute of Philanthropy, Tsinghua University. 

She is master’s supervisor at China University of Mining and Technology(Beijing). Her research interests include non-profit management, program evaluation, internationalization of NGOs etc.
