Ramya RAJAGOPALAN

Ramya heads the Partnerships Team at Piramal Foundation. She enjoys being part of the effort to build a better India through her work at the Foundation.  

She finds meaning in maximizing the leverage of donor funds with Government efforts and budgets to create impact at scale. 

Ramya has worked in investment banking in Singapore and London with JPMorgan in derivatives structuring across equity credit and fixed income.  

In India, she started her career with ICICI and has also served National Stock Exchange, L&T Finance and Edelweiss Group in roles ranging from M&A to corporate strategy and investor relations.  

She is a member of a collective that helps medium-size NGOs grow and scale pro bono, and is on the board of Swadhaar, an NPO that works on financial literacy for women through technology. 

This avid fan of classical music, dance and crime fiction lives in Mumbai with her husband, daughter and the family cat that rules them all with an iron paw.
