Vice President of Social Impact, Rosewood Hotel Group; Board Director, Rosewood Foundation

Mehvesh Mumtaz Ahmed is Vice President and Global Head of Social Impact for Rosewood Hotel Group. 

Her mandate includes leading, developing, and executing a global strategy to help achieve the Group’s vision of creating a future where people and place enrich one another. 

She also leads Rosewood Impacts, a groupwide roadmap for empowering people across the Group’s ecosystem and embedding a sustainability approach that puts circular hospitality at the core of business operations. 

Mehvesh has extensive experience across the private, public and social sectors. Prior to Rosewood, she was leading strategy and thought leadership in sustainability, philanthropy and impact investment across 18 Asian economies. 

She has also worked for the New York City government under Mayor Bloomberg, the World Bank and the United Nations. 

Mehvesh received her education at Princeton University and the London School of Economics. 

She continues to engage with business leaders and policymakers to escalate system change.
