Assistant Professor and McKinney Family Fellow of Environmental Resilience & Philanthropy, Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy

Ash Enrici is a professor at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a McKinney Family Fellow of Environmental Resilience and Philanthropy. 

Her research focuses on how equity impacts effectiveness in ocean conservation and coastal climate resilience, with particular emphasis on the role of donors in these areas. 

She examines philanthropic foundations' influence on conservation agendas and strategies for enhancing climate resilience.

Dr Enrici's work investigates the dynamics between philanthropic donors and conservation outcomes, exploring how funding approaches shape environmental initiatives. 

Her studies on donor influence on resilience and the roles of philanthropic foundations in environmental governance contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex relationships in conservation and climate philanthropy.

Originally from Chicago, Ash holds a PhD in Geographical Sciences from the University of Maryland. 

She is a mother of two and a certified freediving instructor, combining her professional expertise with personal interests in ocean exploration and environmental stewardship.
