About

Manisha Mirchandani oversees research, convening, advisory and outreach activities at the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS). With over a decade of experience as a research and strategy leader, she shapes conversations and guides decision-making for business and philanthropic leaders.

She was formerly Head of Research and Strategy at the Bloomberg Cities Insights Unit, Asia Research Director at FTI Consulting, conducted a major UNDP study in Myanmar, and delivered bespoke economic and geopolitical research for Fortune 500 companies at The Economist Group.

As an early employee and Project Director at the CAPS, she co-develops breakthrough research on Asian philanthropy, including the Doing Good Index which evaluates the environment for directing private capital to social good across 17 Asian economies.
