Stephen CHEUNG Yan-leung

Stephen Cheung Yan-leung is President of Saint Francis University. He was named in Stanford University's "World's Top 2% Scientists" list under the "Career-Long Impact" category in 2019.

He has been deeply committed to advancing higher education and public service. He previously served as President of The Education University of Hong Kong, holding the concurrent title of Chair Professor of Public Policy, from 2013 to 2023. He currently serves as Chairman of the Subsidised Housing Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and has held numerous prominent public appointments, including Chairman of the Transport Advisory Committee.

He was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star and appointed as Justice of the Peace by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and awarded "Officier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques" by the French Government.
