Shufen YANG

Yang Shufen is the Director of Sungei Buloh, Conservation Division of the National Parks Board, Singapore. She oversees the Sungei Buloh Nature Park Network comprising a complementary network of wetlands including the legally gazetted nature reserve, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Singapore, a designated ASEAN Heritage Park and a Flyway Network Site under the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAFP). Her core work involves conservation management, research and outreach both locally and regionally.

She served in the EAAFP Management Committee as Vice-Chair from 2020 to 2023. Currently, she is the Chair of the ASEAN Flyway Network. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology from the National University of Singapore.
