Track 2.1: Building Ladders: Can we deliver social mobility at scale?

Significant gains in poverty reduction have been rightly celebrated, yet actual progress in social mobility, including wealth distribution and access to equal opportunities, has stalled. In many parts of the world, increasing disruptions such as climate change threaten to keep people trapped in poverty. 

In this session, we will explore what it takes to create sustainable ladders of economic prosperity that lead to true social mobility and what is necessary to scale these efforts effectively.
