Zhilin LI
Founder and CEO, The CharityBox
Zhilin Li, a Jockey Club Scholar, graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in political theory and economics. He has prior experience with think tanks, grassroots charities, and international NGOs in both mainland China and Hong Kong. Most recently, he has worked in the advocacy department of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and served as a research specialist at the Berggruen Institute of Peking University. Zhilin now is the founder and CEO of CharityBox, a research nonprofit that explores the most effective ways to do good and to maximize the impact of charitable donations in China. He has a practical and theoretical interest in distributive justice and utilitarianism, and strives to lead a morally grounded life.
